Members of COR-LD have pioneered systematic review and meta-analysis for a number of liver diseases, specifically HCV and NASH/MASH. These assessments require extensive review of the literature followed by meta-analysis according to PRISMA guidance. The systematic review data from members of COR-LD has been used to determine the global epidemiology of MASLD/NAFLD, NASH/MASH and viral hepatitis. These data have been extensively cited in the literature and also forms the basis for extensive economic models that are performed by the team.
